You know, we don’t teach elementary gospel here—we teach the deep things of God. We don’t just preach. The Lord prefers teaching over preaching. Yes, the two are different.
Teaching brings understanding, and the Bible says, “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6)
God wants His people taught, not just promised blessings. So today, as we reflect on the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we remember the One who redeemed us from the power of sin.
When we sinned, we lost dominion—but through Christ, God provided a solution to restore it.
By His grace, we are forgiven.
The enemy will use our privileges to condemn us. He will use what belongs to you to make it seem like it is bad. Then he brings upon you what does not belong to you.
Sometimes we stumble to what belongs to us because the enemy has put it in such a way to make the gospel seem so rigid, to be as if it is too complicated.
But through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are able to navigate and study the things of life in line with His righteousness and we are able to enjoy the creation of God without the enemy putting condemnation inside, to walk cautiously!
That’s all God wants us to be. To be conscious that you don’t destroy yourself. That’s all He looks at.
If He designed you to live a hundred years, He wants you to live a hundred years. He doesn’t want anything that will keep you in worries. He doesn’t want you to carry unnecessary burdens.
All He puts in our way is to make us to be a little conscious. So that you can say “If I go this way, I may hit a snag. But I have a way out still.”
The power of resurrection is that power you see when we are praying for the sick, that causes healing, it is called power of resurrection.
At this celebration, we are remembering our Lord Jesus Christ as He empowered us. He was born. You celebrated that in December, then today is the day we are remembering the
fulfillment of His purpose.
But most of us leave the earth without even knowing what our purpose is or if we have fulfilled it. Our Lord Jesus taught us life is not in the abundance of things.
The more things you have, the more you get worried. The more you are disturbed, the more you are supposed to follow up and find out how they are and how to maintain them.
There are some things you are having that are causing you poverty. You are having them; they sound like a lot of money, but actually, they are the source of your poverty.
You are having a car but every week you are in the garage. You are spending over 200,000 ugx on that car in terms of repair, because you say it is cheap.
You are buying fuel as well, which is okay, but are you gauged it’s consumption? So, you may find that by the end of the year, the money you have spent on repairing that car would have bought you another car.
There are some things we don’t calculate well, because we are still surviving. But when things go bad, the land you are buying to appreciate, to make profits, when things go bad, you sell it even more cheaply.
There is that economy whereby, you must gauge, even in your business, the capacity you want to handle. You must gauge! You don’t just carry anything anyhow, you will destroy yourself.
Something that pains God most, is to bless you, then you turn the blessing into a curse. God has blessed you and your family. Yes, help them but find out what you are helping.
How are you helping them? They are building shrines of witchcraft and you are contributing, you think you are helping them.
You are there to help them buy alcohol, you make them more drunkards. Why don’t you help them to be educated? Open up some business for them.
Something small for them to do, than just pleasing them with all that they want.
God feels cheated when He blesses you and turns the blessing into a curse.
He has made you a leader, you have gone through campaigns, He has helped you to succeed. Then you are swearing in, holding a Bible. Then you say, so help me God.
After doing that, you go and do witchcraft to maintain. You think you are maintaining what you have got. That one angers God. It’s like you are making a gist of Him.
You say, “I have done campaigns and everything.” But were you the only one campaigning? Weren’t there others who campaigned? Is it because you spent much that you have succeeded? There are those who have spent more than you. They even sold their properties.
But after you have succeeded, you are holding a Bible to swear. Then you put it down and go for witchcraft. That’s making a gist of God, that’s mocking Him.
The funny thing is, those who have become rich are the ones who forget the journey they have passed through.
They begin establishing themselves in witchcraft, deep, deep of it. But the God who gave them wisdom, energy and strength to get where they have got, they don’t consider Him.
That’s where the weakness is, that humans do things without thinking.
If you are not going to use God in your leadership, don’t hold a Bible or any Godly book to swear. Just get your witchcraft and raise it up, so that we know that you are a witch?
You wonder, people who are rich are the ones that go to witchcraft more than when they were poor. The guy is sacrificing cows. When they tell him to sacrifice humans, he does it.
He brings everything as if he has no capacity to handle these things by the dominion God has given.
By your earthly authority, you can cause principalities to bow.
As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, let’s know that it hurts Him when He blesses you and then you turn the blessing into a curse, when you forget about Him and begin to move your own way.
The world we are living in is dusty, but if Christ is in you, you’ll overcome.
Prayer: Lord Jesus here I am, resurrect in me and give me your spirit, that I may encounter this world and deal with it permanently.
