WALKING WITH CHRIST

Jesus is humble, gentle and works in a way of integrity. Many people think they are walking with Jesus, yet in reality, they are not.

When He was going through a huge crowd, someone touched Him and He felt it. Among those following him was a woman who had suffered a hemorrhage for 12 years. (Mark 5:25-34  ²⁵ Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, ²⁶ and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. ²⁷ When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. ²⁸ For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” ²⁹ Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. ³⁰ And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”  ³¹ But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ” ³² And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. ³³ But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. ³⁴ And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”) She touched his cloak in faith and immediately got healed, implying she was walking with Him and she knew who He was. She fell at His feet, worshipped Jesus and testified for Him.

In loving Jesus, you will be connected to Him and it is a gauge that will help you know whether you are still walking with him. The measure of love you have for Jesus will help you know at what level you are walking with Him. The more you develop that love, the more you will walk with Him. 

When walking with Jesus, we don’t mix our faith. It remains pure and virgin. The most important thing in your walk with Christ is to read the Word, meditate upon it and act on it. Many people will preach what we want to hear, but the Bible will teach you what God wants you to know. You need to have faith that is not mixed. We are living on earth temporally. Walk in power and know He can do even greater things than He did before. Behold He who designed you knows your challenges and has given you authority and in His Name to overcome.

“Spirit of the Most High God, connect my spirit to yours. Access me and make me clean that I may be clean and walk in the Light with You. Move by my side. Assign a special grace and allow your Spirit to rest upon me for the salvation of my soul. In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen.”
