Bro Ronnie Makabai is a heavily anointed prophet of the Highest God with the Grace of healing, deliverance, teaching, prophecy, and worship. He is a talented Servant of God who actually plays most of the music instruments and he earned the national Pearl of Africa Music Awards winner 2004 Gospel category. He is well-read and equipped with two academic doctorate degrees and a Ph.D.; and currently at the level of a Professor.

As God did great works through him, the audience numbers kept growing. His blessing attracted great persecution that led to the burning of the church at Salaama Road on 6th November 2016. This, plus the large congregation that could no longer fit at Holy City Salaama Road, prompted him to build and shift to another mega auditorium and Holy City Entebbe on 28th May 2017. Bro. Ronnie Makabai has preached the Gospel in many parts of the world. He is commonly known as a Fireman because of his art of deliverance.

In his own words, Professor Ronnie Makabai says; “I can do nothing without Christ in me. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. However, worldly things mean nothing without a proper relationship with Christ. I am a brother, a dad, a doctor, Prophet, and professor, and above all a friend; now you can decide which title you can call me.”
