On 31st Dec 2024, as the sun rose, an air of expectancy filled Holy City Entebbe. Thousands of people from different parts of the world gathered, united by their faith and hope, ready to experience the Lord’s transformative power. The night of prayer was hosted by the Servant of God Bro. Ronnie Makabai as well as Ev. Priya Ronnie in the New Jerusalem Stadium under the theme “It is Finished”.
Crowds of people flooded Holy City Entebbe in the New Jerusalem stadium as several of them came to meet the Man of God, to be prayed for, see the fireworks, and dedicate the year 2025 to the Lord. Everybody was welcome to Holy City Entebbe, the place of God loving people. The Grace of God was sufficient for us all.
Among these individuals, there were those that had heard about the special anointing that could only be found at Holy City Entebbe on that day. They carried pain, affliction and brokenness hoping to be offloaded of every burden.
The Heavens were open, the Angels were singing and the LORD Jesus Christ declared “It Is Finished!”
“The theme “It Is Finished” is not from the wisdom of man. It is the Lord Himself that gave it. You are going to see the hand of God and He will be glorified forever. The deeper insight of the theme “It Is Finished” is that this year God is going to do a lot of things. There will be a big transition for Uganda. God wants to use this country as an altar. God is going to use Uganda to do great things this year. There will be a big transition this year and that will take us to greater heights. There will be a time when someone comes to Uganda and their mind changes and they’ll receive salvation. He knows how He’s going to refine it and what method he will use to refine the nation but the end result is to make it His own country.” Bro. Ronnie Makabai shared.
The night was a vibrant celebration, filled with extraordinary music and dance performances and unforgettable experiences. From the thrill of games and sports to serene boat cruises and bombastic fireworks, every detail was carefully organized by the one who truly cares for us, Bro. Ronnie Makabai, under the divine guidance of the Spirit of Truth.
After a day filled with fun and games, the Holy City Choir led us through incredible sessions of worship and praise to charge the atmosphere and to prepare our hearts, for the Holy Spirit to dwell freely.
Thereafter Joe Praize, the internationally acclaimed gospel artist known as the Minister of Joy from Nigeria, electrified the crowd with his vibrant energy and powerful praise. Moving from corner to corner of the stage, his voice lifted the audience into a shared celebration of God’s greatness, leaving no heart untouched.
As we were still leaping for joy at the awareness of the greatness of our King Jesus, the anointed Servant of God, the General of God, the Fireman, Bro. Ronnie Makabai came in like an angel, dripping in white, pumping his fists in the air and dancing to the melodic sounds coming from the Holy City Choir.
His presence brought to us a different kind of aura. As he danced, we danced! The joy was unending, the energy was just right and Grace filled the air immensely. The Man of God led us through a powerful session of prayer to unburden ourselves of all the challenges of 2024 to allow us to enter a new year on a fresh and clean slate.
At exactly midnight, an explosion of colorful fireworks lit the night sky. The crowd burst out in jubilant cheers, declaring, ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR!’ With tears of joy and heartfelt prayers, they embraced one another, ushering in 2025 with hope and renewed faith.
Customary to every end of year crossover prayer, the servants of God Bro. Ronnie Makabai and Ev. Priya Ronnie led us in a powerful prayer to request for one thing that we wanted God to do for us in each and every month 2025. From January to December with our candles and phone lights held high we sought the face of our LORD Jesus Christ and in the end The Man of God declared “It is Finished!”
Those who couldn’t attend in person watched the full event live on Ark TV and listened on 91.6 Christ FM, including the teaching where the Man of God urged us that “this year 2025, don’t wait too long. When you think, plan then move immediately.” This year 2025 is not just any ordinary year, it is the year in which the LORD has declared us blessed permanently and His will for our lives will be fulfilled no matter what.
Once again we say, it is finished!!! All the suffering, the pain, disappointments, setbacks, family strongholds, sickness and all other challenges are no more. You have been consecrated to be God’s special treasure. Claim it, cling to God and watch your life amaze those around you including yourself.
